Getting Started

Learn how to get quickly setup using JetBrains IDEs with ACP.

Open the AI Chat tool window

Launch the AI Chat panel from the JetBrains IDE toolbar or via the View menu.

Install from ACP Registry

Click the dropdown menu and select Install From ACP Registry, then choose your agent.

Configure if needed

For agents not in the registry, create a config file at ~/.jetbrains/acp.json with your agent's command and args.

Start coding

Select your installed agent from the dropdown and start a new thread.
